The Audio Technica ATH M50xBT is a wireless Bluetooth-version of the popular ATH M50x that have been around for a few years now. And in fact, have been a very much preferred choice for the people who want a wired headphone under Rs 10000. The headphones are an over-the-ear type of headphones and unfortunately, do not come with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), unlike most other over-the-ear headphones these days. Because of which, people have to rely on the passive noise cancellation, which could only manage to muffle down the sound to a certain extent. In terms of specifications, the Audio Technica ATH M50xBT has a 45mm dynamic driver for deep and accurate bass response, frequency response in the range 15Hz – 28000Hz, touch control for easy access to voice assistant, mic and button controls on the ear cups, and compatibility with aptX and AAC codecs. The headphones come bundled with a 30cm USB charging cable and a carrying pouch. According to the company, the headphones provide up to 40 hours of use in a single charge, and the over-ear design of the earcups provides sufficient sound isolation.
